Congratulations, New Ambit Energy Executive Consultants!

Richard and Mary Amoedo

EC Richard and Mary Amoedo Thank Our "Phenomenal" Opportunity!

"I'm in bed in the hospital and I'm getting promoted!" exclaims EC Mary Amoedo. Mary is doing fine. She's just in for some monitored bed rest. "All these patients on my wing," she says with concern in her voice, "are here another two to ten weeks. When they get out, they may or may not have a job, they'll have big medical bills and an infant to care for." Then brightening up, "The beauty of this opportunity is when I get out of the hospital, my income will be greater!"

Her husband Richard has run some numbers on their Ambit income. "In less than a year's time, we've gone from making all of $500 in April, to a residual income greater than what you'd earn if you had $600,000 in a CD earning 5% annually." Mary chimes in happily, "It covers our mortgage! It's phenomenal!" And their income is growing. Richard immediately points out that they don't talk about these numbers because he and Mary are impressed with themselves; they are impressed that the Ambit Opportunity can create this kind of income.

Richard and Mary Amoedo have closed their mortgage business, which they worked 60 or 70 hours a week, to pursue a better financial future with Ambit Energy.

A Quest For Better Quality of Life
"Our goal, our focus," Richard says, "is to improve people's quality of life. Money does that, but great people do that quicker. We ask ourselves, 'How are we going to make a difference in people's lives?'"

Part of the answer comes by way of the example set by some Ambit Energy field leaders. "[NC] Steve Thompson, [EC] Chris Atkinson and [EC] Kenny Smith have all come to visit me in the hospital. [NC] Carlos Marin has called many times," Mary relates. "And none of these guys are in our organization! It speaks volumes about the culture of our company."

Richard and Mary joined Ambit after saying "no" many times to their friend and now sponsor, NC Terri Hammack. Mary remembers, "She saw us working 60 and 70 hours a week in our mortgage business, which had recently quadrupled in income. We were traveling all over the country and had no time for our two kids. Terri wanted a better quality of life for us." Finally, Terri got Richard and Mary signed up. They "laid dormant" for six months, when one day they got a check for $334 in the mail.

Mary says, "I called up Terri right then and said 'Show me how this thing works!'" The Amoedos had been looking for a way out of their mortgage business, but had "no idea that this was a bonafide business." Terri showed them the comp plan and Mary said to herself, "I'm just going to play around with this until I figure out what's next." Then Mary gets excited again, "We started making lots of money quickly. And we found out it's easy and it's fun! I love it!" Within two months, they shut down their mortgage business to pursue Ambit full-time.

Nobody Goes It Alone
"We couldn't have done this without Terri's daily support," Richard says. "And [NC] Terry LaCore helped us with some key trainings." The Amoedos give special thanks to Terri and Terry who are in their upline organization. And they extend their gratitude for help to key individuals who are not in their organization, but who definitely feel like they're on the same team: National Consultants Steve Thompson, Carlos Marin and Brian McClure.

Mary has all six of her siblings in the business. "We share this opportunity with everyone. In fact, I was more excited about one of our RCs becoming a Senior than us being EC," Mary says about SC Cassondra Parker, whose recent promotion triggered the Amoedo's rise to EC level. "She worked so hard! We're so proud of her!"

Advice for new Consultants
"Start a team with as many people as possible," Mary advises. Richard believes in the 526 System and the resources available in Power Zone under Ambit University. "If you're not using those resources, you're not really working this business." He also says, "Don't quit. When you think about it, don't quit. You're not going to find a better deal out there. You will find a different deal, but not a better deal."

Richard and Mary have seen that Ambit's most successful people attend events held by upline leaders and by the company. "As many trainings as we've gone to," Richard says, "we've always come away with something worth more to the business than what we paid for the training." Mary says, "No matter what level you're on, there's always something new to be learned. Learn it, then apply it between sessions. Apply it and you'll get to the next level."

Mary continues to work her Ambit business from her hospital bed. Get plenty of good rest Mary. We want to see you at an Ambit Opportunity meeting soon!

EC Kevin Cochran Brings High-Energy Passion to His Ambit Business.

"If you cannot believe," says EC Kevin Cochran about Ambit Energy's service, "then you will not achieve success in this business."

Kevin's voice is steamrolling through the phone line, energized by his excitement and passion for the Ambit Opportunity. He's talking about what it takes to achieve success.

"When you joined this business, you didn't pay $399 to save money on your electric bill. You joined the business to make money!" He's just getting warmed up. "Ambit says, to get your first bonus check, enroll four customers in 28 days. I say four in 24 hours! I'm going to help new Consultants do this. Get them their first check. Get the check in their hands. Get them excited. Excitement creates momentum. When they get that first check in their hand - and it's Chase Bank, not some bank you never heard of - the checks cash!"

EC Kevin Cochran, pictured with his fiancee RC Dina Verteramo. "Believe" is Kevin's favorite word.

Why Kevin Believes In Ambit Energy
"I'm a Christian. I believe in God. I believe even though I haven't seen," Kevin confesses. "Here's something you can see and believe. When you walk around to the side of your house and see your meter spinning, somebody's getting paid! Why not you and me?"

Another reason Kevin believes in this company is Ambit Energy's leadership. "When I heard about Ambit Energy, I went up to the corporate office immediately and saw the vision and decided I couldn't afford not to join the business." He recommends that everyone who joins finds a chance to visit the corporate office. "When I met [co-founders] Jere and Chris, I saw nothing but integrity. I got a strong feeling that Jere is about helping people, not about the money. And Chris was very upfront with me, honest and real. When you consider the integrity, vision, investment and time it takes to start this kind of company, you will believe. To do this [start an energy company] we're not talking about $100,000 or even a million dollars. These guys are not playing. This is not some network marketing company piggy-backing on some electricity provider."

Now Kevin is on a roll. "When's the last time you had the chance to introduce yourself to the gentlemen who are providing electricity to your home? When's the last time you shook hands with the CEO of TXU or Reliant and had a chance to thank him for your low rates and the great travel incentives?"

Kevin has been working in network marketing in the Dallas area for the past 15 years and now realizes why so many of those other businesses have failed. "With everything else I was selling what people want, not what people need. Now, with energy, my market is the masses not just the classes. It's ELECTRICITY!"

Special Thanks
"I have some awesome people in my group," Kevin says. He wants to recognize EC Blake Logan, SC Les Delap, SC Reza Mohamed, RC Michael Brainerd, RC Jim Nerius and SC Bill Thompson and Bill's entire group for the great job they're doing. He also gives special thanks to Jere and Chris because "this opportunity is a blessing."

Advice for new Consultants
Kevin says that since he joined Ambit in September 2006, he's attended a Business Presentation every week. "It's good for you and it's good for your team. Even though some of my team might not do what I say, they will do what they see me do. Go to every Ambit event, like these Power Trips and the Power Conference we had in Houston." He advises that you follow the system from the beginning. "We have a solid system in place for a good reason." One of the best pieces of advice he's taken was from NC Lane Winsett: Write down "I am an Ambit Millionaire" and stick it to your mirror. Figure out what you're going to do today - every day - to make that come true. "Think about Google stock. Knowing what you know now, years ago would you have borrowed to invest $20,000? We're going to shatter Google's record for becoming a billion-dollar business!" Kevin recommends that if you're not in, you join the business today. Finally, he says the money is in the training. "Your team is going to grow by training others to be you." Now, if you train yourself to be Kevin Cochran, you better be ready to earn some serious income!

Stay Energized!

Executive Consultant Blake Logan Riding High In Chicago.

Dallas native Blake Logan rides with two Ambit Energy leaders just in from California from O'Hare. They're headed to a noon meeting with an Illinois Pre-Launch Consultant in Blake's Ambit Energy organization.

Energy In The Fast Lane
"I just sent this guy an email, you know?" Blake knew the person lived in Chicago. "He's already in. We're going over there now because when I bring someone into the business, I want to meet them face to face."

The travel, the high level of activity and the energy Blake expends on his business may give you some idea of what it takes to promote yourself to Executive Consultant leadership level.

Taking Massive Action
"And I work with my people," Blake insists, doing, "whatever it takes." Like what, for example? "Well I'm riding in the car with Keiana [Hudspeth] and Myda [Muckala] right now, …" he offers, referring to his Ambit Energy colleagues. Whatever it takes.

"It's not me; it's the company.

I might just put it in front

of more people than others."

Last-second leap to EC level achieves Ambition 2007 Deadline
Blake was highly motivated to reach EC leadership level. Chris Chambless had called before Ambition to let him know the company was putting up our valued Executive Consultants in suites.

"I came down to Ambition, literally, without a hotel reservation," Blake recalls. "I had two more Consultants to get and a couple more customers. I was either gonna hit it or sleep in the lobby!"

He says Friday night of Ambition 2007, he was in EC Terri Hammack's suite, along with SC Bethany Bejcek, and he kept hitting "Refresh" on his laptop, "…over and over and over and over," … waiting, waiting and waiting. "Finally it turned and we started screaming! We were yelling! Then the hotel dropped off a big gift basket (but it was for Terri, not for me!) And the hotel staff asked, 'Is everything okay in here? Someone heard a woman screaming,' and we laughed and it was a big celebration!"

Blake attributes his success to:

1) A whole lot of prayer.
2) Just calling everybody that I know.
3) My belief that this is it. This is the opportunity.

It was especially rewarding for Blake to be recognized for his achievements at a great event like Ambition 2007, and he considers himself in excellent company among Ambit Energy Executive Consultants. During onstage recognition for Executive Consultants, Blake found himself standing between Bishop Richard Rose and Pastor Kenny Smith. "I'm sandwiched between two pretty solid guys." Last night after the Oak Lawn meeting, all three ECs were reminiscing about that moment. Blake says the three of them have "…got to know each other really well. I really like those guys a lot."

What's Next!
Tonight, Blake, his California colleagues and his Illinois Pre-Launch Team, along with several guests each, are going to the big Ambit Energy Illinois Pre-Launch Business Presentation at the Crowne Plaza Chicago O'Hare.

Co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer Chris Chambless will be there. Top income earners Carlos Marin and Brian McClure will be there. Blake Logan will be there. Maybe the next Blake Logan will be there, too!

Executive Consultant Danny Kirby Sees A Great Year Ahead.

"2008 can be the greatest year of your life, if you'll let it," says EC Danny Kirby. "You want control of your life, get on the train!" Danny is clearly amped up about the Ambit Opportunity. Before Ambit, Danny earned most of his income during telecom deregulation. "I love the idea of providing a service through network marketing, as opposed to a product. Pills, potions and lotions... my heart's just not into that."

Danny goes on to explain that there is no other network marketing opportunity that can deliver the residual income that Ambit Energy can. "That's why we've attracted the leadership we have," he says. And he feels that in Ambit, we are fortunate to have in place proven business systems developed by those great leaders.

"I think of myself as a sponge," Danny says about absorbing insights from successful business leaders. "I steal from the rich!" He's not stealing money; he's stealing the ideas and best practices of those who know what works to build a successful business organization. He says that in this business, "you get to steal from millionaires!"

At Ambition 2007, EC Danny Kirby won the Texas Hold'em Tournament held for Ambit's Top 30 income earners. Danny said, "I played to win for the team that got me there, and it was an honor to participate."

"What's my game plan, buddy?"
Danny joined the business on the strength of a recommendation from his mentor and close friend, NC Terry LaCore. Terry explained to Danny that Texas would serve as the model for energy deregulation that will be duplicated throughout the USA. "He didn't have to explain it to me," Danny says. "I just knew I needed to engage."

Danny visited Ambit Energy Corporate Headquarters, met our co-founders, Jere Thompson and Chris Chambless, and he "saw where their hearts really were." He says he felt like all his life he had been preparing for this opportunity, one with "huge magnitude." So when he joined the business, the first question he asked Terry was, "What's my game plan, buddy?" Terry's response was, "Go out and have fun and try to get lucky."

That's what he did, and now he's promoted himself to Executive Consultant leadership status. "It's a great program. It happens by default just by following the system." Danny says, "Duplicate what you did to get to RC and you will become an NC."

A team on a mission
"This business is not about me; it's about the team, all on the same mission. My goal is to help as many people as I can create generational wealth." He says you cannot do it alone. You need great leaders and a whole lot of great people in your organization to make it happen. He recognizes SC Gary Prenger as a big help, a major leaguer we'll be hearing more about. Then he adds, "And Chris Chambless and Jere Thompson... they're genuine and real, and I truly feel that they're on the same mission as we are out in the field."

Danny is very impressed with our company's strategic partnership with Shell Energy Trading. He feels, "Shell became involved not with a network marketing company that was under a year old, but with the leadership of the company."

How it works
Danny mentioned several times that you can have success in this business, "...by asking three silly questions, being willing to learn and staying committed." He says we're not selling anything or talking people into buying something; we're offering something." He quotes NC Brian McClure: "It's not what you do, it's what you start." Danny says the biggest things that have happened in his business were not from anything he did directly, but happened because "we're doing the right thing."

Advice for new Consultants
"The Main Deal Is Customers," Danny stresses. He believes that customers are our product. "We move product from the incumbent energy providers to Ambit Energy and Ambit takes care of the rest. We save them money, give them gifts and treat them like real customers, not just consumers." He continues, "You have to move product to make money."

He also advises attending every event you can get to. "The more you show, the more you grow." When you surround yourself with respected business leaders, some of their success is going to rub off on you.

Danny's biggest piece of advice is simple: "Plug into the system!" Then he explains, "If you go out and reinvent the wheel, you lose. We need to follow a duplicatible path. The System Is The Secret!"

Thing is, it's no secret to EC Danny Kirby. And it's a secret he's willing to share with you!
